An ad design platform for Mythings Studio. Mythings is a digital advertising company specializing in retargeting.
The company uses data and machine learning to show personalized ads to users based on their browsing history.

Background

The team at myThings Studio handled a high volume of campaigns each month. The ads editing platform was outdated and didn’t match the companys’ needs such as accessibility to clients’ assets and efficient and collaborative design process.

We decided to come up with a new and optimized user experience that will serve the designers and client managers and will level up the overall quality and productivity of the ads production process.

Goal

  • Creating a work environment and an efficient interface that saves work time and enables effectiveness and productivity.
  • A user-friendly experience design that allows continuous work over time day after day.
  • Manage all graphic assets within the platform.
  • Keep campaign designs in line with brand identity.
  • Enable constant collaboration between designers and client managers.

File Organizer

The file organizer provides a fast and easy way to access all advertising files, and enables efficient management of client folders for all campaign ads, sets, and variations.

Ads Studio

The Ads Editor, the main feature of the platform, simplifies the design process and enhances collaboration. It allows users to choose between a flexible or a structured design approach, with a technical yet straightforward interface. Despite its richness in features, it maintains a clean ad display. Users can adjust ad properties through a minimalist panel, select predefined settings from templates, and add elements like fixed text fields. Adjusting ad size is made convenient with a dropdown menu and side arrows for easy scrolling.

Template Library

To optimize workflow and campaign results, designers can select from tested, ready-made templates, saving time and maximizing outcomes. They can also start with a chosen template and customize it for campaign needs, or begin with a blank template for complete originality.

Media Library

The graphic media of each brand is saved in the media gallery which allows general and specific organization of materials for each campaignץ

Brandbook

Working with multiple brands, a designer must preserve each brand’s unique identity. Our studio process involves creating an editable brand book for each brand, where designers upload logos, color palettes, set usage restrictions, and specify font properties. This feature’s main advantage is that once the brand book is defined, the system uses it to guide all designs according to the established design system.

Presentation Mode

You can switch to presentation mode to view the ads in full screen view and share the ads with other designers and stakeholders.
